IntelliMatch – Terminology
The following table contains a list of keywords and their definitions within the intelliMATCH context:

| Balance Pool | Holder for related Ledger and Statement accounts. |
| Match Rule | Data rule used to identify and match pairs and groups of items. |
| Match Criteria | The criteria contained within a Match Rule. |
| Reason Code | A label given to a Match Rule to identify the match reason. |
| ItemState | The Item Status, e.g. outstanding / matched. |
| MatchID | The identification number applied to all items within a Match Rule. |
| Purging | The intelliMATCH equivalent of Archiving from Active to History. |
| Groups | Filters and queries used to select data for viewing and editing. |
| Views | Filters used to select the columns required in a given view. |
